On monday, we had a lecture on Copyright within fashion and the difference between a Customer Profile and a Consumer Profile.
The Consumer is the person that uses the product and the Customer is the person that buys the product. For instance, our Customer is most likely to be the Parent and the Consumer would be the child.
After the lecture, we had a quick group meeting to discuss what everyone would be doing that day and then we split up to get things done.
I used photoshop and WGSN to do some more texture and print moodboards driven by next years trends.
After I finished researching prints and textures for Autumn/ Winter, I used the templates that Jasmin created to draw my 12 outfit designs onto.
I used the shape trend research that I carried out (in previous posts) to aid my designing. We wanted simple shapes that could be enhanced and brought to life by colour and texture.
I then used textures inspired by my texture trend research and coloured them using photoshop to make them appropriate to our colour pallet. I used these trend driven textures to paste onto my 12 outfit designs.
I am really happy with the outcome of these.
I started on my working drawings next. I drew them by hand because I prefer to do it this way. And then I plan to edit them on photoshop next week.
